Damaged Hair

This problem occurs when some external factors such as sun, friction, heat or harsh chemical treatments attack the supportive outer layer of your hair that called “cuticle”, leaving behind split ends and some cracks in its exterior layer. Once the cuticle opens up, it lets your hair look dull, dry or even frizzy. It also makes it more prone to damage and breakage.

  • Try washing your hair once per week and rely mainly on the conditioner, whether you’re a daily or a weekly washer.
  • Use hair treatment masks that are enriched with reparative and moisturizing ingredients.
  • Follow a rich diet to make sure your hair gets all the nutrients it might need.
  • Choose wide-tooth combs to prevent breakage and damages. You should only use the brush when your hair is dry, and get away from using plastic bristles/combs.
